A Reverence for Life

I have always known wildlife the way some people know music. Not as something to be observed, but as something felt in the spirit and something you can see yourself in.

Growing up in New Mexico and now living along the Southern California coast, I spent years devoted to the study of my own inner world through hypnosis and subconscious exploration, sensing all along that my creativity dwelled somewhere in that terrain.

The breakthrough came through a dream in 2020. I’ve been painting ever since.

My medium is fine detail watercolor — wildlife and marine life rendered with a specificity my collectors describe as deep connection and presence.

Dreamstate is where that reverence is evoked.

Dreamstate lives within my larger body of work rooted in subconscious exploration and human transformation.

Creativity has been one of the most profound pathways of my own healing. It is where the subconscious speaks, where imagination opens, and where we begin to see what else is possible within the wholeness of our lives. I believe every human being has something creative to offer the collective. Creativity is a gift that abundantly restores itself. The more we access it, the more we have.
